Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities,
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life.
We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day.
We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures.
At Habitat for Humanity, this is what unites us. Through shelter, we empower.
Habitat: we build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter. Click on About Us to learn more.
Your financial support, your voice and your time will continue to bring strength, stability and independence to families in need of decent place to live.
Building on success, building partnerships, building homes and hope. We just completed another home in partnership with a local family and preparing for our next projects. Thank you to the generous donors – companies, churches and people just like you! – who make dreams come true.
Your donations to the Habitat ReStore are a vital part of our program. If you’re moving, remodeling, decluttering, downsizing, consider donating your gently-used items. There’s more info here. Remember, January 2 we’ve moved to 225 S. Bridge Street to the old Adams Seafood/Gallery 21 building, across from Foothills Meats! ReStore donations are gratefully accepted in the rear of our new building.
While the ReStore is heading to Jonesville, the offices of our homeownership program will remain in our Elkin building. We’ll also use the building to house our Homebuyer Education Center and to warehouse construction and other materials. We will no longer be accepting ReStore donations at the Elkin site. We appreciate your continued support as we expand locations and work to provide decent, affordable homes in Yadkin and Surry counties.
