What’s a ReStore?
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are resale stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Each Habitat for Humanity ReStore is proudly owned and operated by the local Habitat for Humanity office – we love our ReStore and are proud to operate in a historic building in downtown Elkin.
Dollars spent at the ReStore go toward our homeownership program, building with families in need of decent, affordable housing.
The Habitat ReStore also advocates for the reuse of furniture, appliances and building supplies. Each year we divert tons of household materials from the landfills!
Visit us at 102 East Market Street, Elkin to shop, donate and volunteer. Our regular hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. We are closed every Sunday and Monday.
We're located across the street from Town Hall, at the corner of E. Market and North Bridge Streets, in the large dark red brick building. There's plenty of free parking in the town parking lot.
